Hand lettered note

Having fun with some hand lettering. Made this Paulo Coelho quote as a gift to someone who was moving away to a new place.

Used watercolors, micron pens and golden acrylic paint :)

On an ancient trail

With its beautiful yet haunting remnants of ancient temples built during the 11th century, Kiradu lies about 35 km from the city of Barmer in Rajasthan.

Under the regime of Solanki Dynasty of Gujarat these temples were built with intricate stone carvings. The temple stones depict various figurines of gods, goddesses, and other creatures on its walls and pillars.

And finally to the beautiful Mahabar Sand dunes. Though these are not as vast as Sam, they are still worth a visit to sit and enjoy the beautiful sunset or to lie down on the cool sand on a moonlit night.

The eat week

With a resolution to do more blogging this year, here's how my past week went by - enjoying a lot more food than expected!

Beginning from the top: Dessert @ Wenger's Deli, Connaught Place - An almost empty Wenger's Bakery at 7 p.m. led us to its Deli for some wonderful mousse. Lunch @ German Bakery (Ajay Guest House),Paharganj - Ceaser Salad, Lemon Chicken and their Moccotrat and cheese cake. Yum!

Another day spent roaming in the streets of Shahpur-jat and Hauz Khaz Village led us to Elma's Bakery, Cakes and Tearoom for a piece of their salted caramel cake and New York cheese cake and before that to Potbelly for some delicious Bihari cuisine.
